Switching from Starling to Natwest

Hi. I currently have three current accounts in different banks. One in Netwest where I am receiving my salary and pay two direct debit to BT and Now TV, second in Monzo where i transfer some money and use that for daily expenses and third account in Starling where i transfer my savings and it doesn't have any specific outgoings and no direct debits. I have applied online to switch my Starling account to Natwest to receive switching bonus of £125 and i was asked if I am a existing customer in Natwest and enter account details which I did. Will Natwest open another new current account for me and switch my balance to that and pay my bonus in that new account by February or will they switch my Starling account balance to my existing Natwest account?

Don't forget if you switch (out of) or close starling account you cannot open an account with them (starling) again for 1 year. It's somewhere on their website FAQ.

I seem to remember the Starling card offers good rates/fees etc when withdrawing cash abroad (there may be other perks also).

I believe the Monzo account dosen't have such a restriction (1 yr). SO, why not switch the monzo account, then re-open after 1 months or so.

All this is only relevant if your switch hasn't got to a stage where it's irreversible. I think you have a cooling-off period, where you can change your mind.

I don't really need the oversees cash withdrawal service that much plus Monzo does offer £200 withdrawal anyway.
