In your shoes I would be hoping that their was not another fixed penalty on its way to you which would make 12 points.
What you need to do is change the way you drive and start looking at the limit on whatever road you are on at the time and drive accordingly.
Do you know why you speed? Is it because you do not allow enough time to get somewhere? Is it because you like to speed?
Your insurance premiums are likely to go up as a result of the offences.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
I appreciate the advices! But again I want to know is there a chance I could even take the 49 on 40 penalty to court in the hope that I wouldn’t get 3 points for that or is that something unlikely to happen?0

As already said, no ... you've a snowball's chance in hell of avoiding points by opting for court. In fact the outcome is likely to be far worse for you.
What justification or mitigation can you possibly envisage that might make you think court is a good option? Whilst the 49 in a 40 would normally put you in the ballpark for a SAC (enforcement normally starts at 10% + 2 mph), the fact you have prior points weighs against you ... if they were going to offer it then their letter would say this.0 -

If you did go to court what would be your likely defence for the offence? If you think you have an excellent excuse then you could risk it.
Take a look at this:

That it’s not much above the prosecution limit which I believe is 47 and what I’ve read about the accuracy of the equipment they use! Not sure to be fare! That’s why I’m asking for advice!0

This thread is about to go round in circles ... I'll make it plain - opting for court would be a stupid move. If you're asking here for advice about it then you're not in a position of knowledge to even contemplate it.
The only reasonable solution is to take the FPNs and also SLOW DOWN!0 -
If you plead guilty you will be given points. If you plead not guilty and are indeed found not giuilty there will be no points.
The only way to avoid points therefore is to be aquited of both the offences. Do you have a defence for either offence?0 -
