Question about my driving license being returned

Hi, I recently received a £100 fine which I’ve sent my license off (around a week ago) and I am currently waiting for the points to be added so the license can be sent back.
Unfortunately I need a form of photographic valid ID for next Friday and my only option is my driving license, is there any way to speed up the process in getting it returned or having a temporary replacement to show as ID, any contact details for the people I should get in touch with would be a massive help, thanks.

not really the correct forum
but
the system works at its own speed , ringing /writing will not speed this up , temp replacement , if it was offered could take longer0
