Hi all hoping somebody can help me here please.
Recently moved into a 3 bed semi it has had cavity wall instalation foam type. I get condensation on bedroom windows / downstairs windows not a lot and not wringing wet. I have opened windows over night does not help at all to be honest.
So I did research into a drimaster basic installed the unit does seem slightly better but not cured. Currently running on setting 4 I do get a smell from the loft coming into the house but they is plently of air I can feel coming from the unit.
Anyone got any suggestions what I can do now? I have extractor fan in kitchen which is open plan into living and dining room. Also have a fan in the bathroom.
Thanks

Domestic ventilation specialists (BPEC qualified) say the whole system must be balanced, individual products properly sited and installed. For example is a Drimaster supposed to be used with open windows or a sealed up house?
Identify and reduce sources of the condensation. Obviously you can't stop breathing, but you have an issue on two floors so there are likely other issues to be addressed.
Check all the fans (noise =/= effectiveness) and where the dryer vents. Any ducts or vents that are too long, too many bends, wrong angle or through cold air may render them useless.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Hi Fire Fox,
My mum moved into her property in Jan 18 and the bungalow at that time was in a poor state. She’s had to have some walls skimmed, new electrics, wood worm, mainly cosmetic things done to the property. The previous owner had the it repossessed but whilst she was living there she had been doing so with no working central heating. First thing my mum did was have a new boiler installed
Since the bungalow has been completed and looks like a palace (biased I know) we’ve found damp patches in the living room & bedroom room both outside walls.
I organised for a damp proofer to come this evening to quote whatever he felt would cure the damp patches and he suggested the Drimaster Eco Heat with Hallway Control. I was wondering how much were you quoted to have this installed please? My mum has been quoted £795.00 Supplied & fitted.
Thanks in advance 0 -

A salesman will always find a product to sell you, when you have covered everything else and the problem persists to the point you feel it requires attention then have an independent survey done if you wish to cure it.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
