Help against Parcel Force

Hello,

I had an issue with the Parcel Force scam courrier you have in the UK (I'm Italian). I've also seen from the internet that the company is well known for its bad reputation.

Having spent 10 hours talking to them without solving anything, I would like to come up with a quick solution that will force them to behave correctly. I would also like to make Parcel Force a better company by having strong impact on them.

I was thinking to hire a Virtual Assistant (on Freelancer/Fiverr) to deal with their customer support for $4 per hour, once a day, forever untile they solve my issue. I would also like to start a PR campaign against them with the financial/public relations help of their competitors.

"Student Hires Virtual Assistant to Deal with Parcel Force Bad Customer Support"

If you've had any bad experience with them and you know someone (journalists, etc..) that might be interested, please let me know.

Thanks

  • HERE IS THE ISSUE:

The issue is that I have relocated from London to Italy. I've sent my stuff with them. Well, it arrived here in Italy, the Italian courrier attempted a delivery once (failing), but never called me or never left anything on my door. Then they sent everything back to the UK, and Parcel Force are not willing to send it back to Italy because I do not have an address in the UK!!!

When I sent my stuff, I told at the post office:
"I will not have an address in the uk, can I write my Italian address as a returning address?" they said YES. Now Parcel Force does not want to attempt a redelivery and they are going to dispose of my items.

They are following their normal procedure.

Can a friend not collect it?

It will be passed to another courier once it leaves then UK, so I would say the Italian counterpart is to blame.

Postage in Italy has such an awful reputation that many EBay sellers refuse to ship there!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Have we not seen this before ??

  • So, to summarise another way, Parcelforce handed your items on to a courier in Italy, then later received those items back from Italy, and do not have an address in the UK to return them to.

They already tried sending them to Italy, that didnt work and they can't return them to anyone in the UK. If i were you i'd ask Parcelforce if you can pay them to send them back to Italy, and then claim the cost from the courier in Italy.

Parcelforce and the Post Office are two separate companies so if what you were told by the PO is incorrect then it is them that you have to pursue and not Parcelforce.

I think it will be more 'Italian postal service fails to do its job and student decides to blame someone else, whilst paying money to do so...'
  • Sounds like the Italians at fault and not Parcel Force.

Usually story "It's always the Brits fault".........lol.

Well actually it's the OP's fault all along, not there to take delivery so the problem is all their doing.
