ANPR parking ticket, wrong name

A ticket arrived in the post.
The driver tried to pay for a ticket a car park. It looked like a Pay & Display car park. There was a machine that was out of order, had a black plastic bag on it. The driver tried to pay using the app that the board mentioned, but after fiddling with it, found that it didn't work either. The driver gave up and parked across the road in a different car park. This was done without knowing that the car park had an ANPR camera.
The vehicle was allegedly parked for 12 minutes.
This is the car park of Gateway Shopping Centre, Trowbridge
The car park is managed by Smart Parking Ltd of Elmston Green, Birmingham.

Wrong name is unlikely to help, however as they will have ONLY gotten this info from the DVLA, check your V5 (get it out NOW and check, dont guess) and make sure your name is right on there.
You will then HAVE to edit your post. Refer to THE DRIVER, as in - the driver parked up, tried to pay but couldnt. THe driver then left...
You then need to give us some actual useful details!
1) WHich company? FULL EXACT NAME. No guessing.
2) How long was the vehciel alleged to be parked for?
3) Where was this located?
You are, in all details, the vehicles KEEPER. This is a seperate entity from the DRIVER of a vehicle, even if they can sometimes be the same person.0 -

Send the already written blue text template appeal found in post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations necessary.
Send it as the keeper.
At the same time complain to the shopping centre management.0 -
I have appealed and written a letter of complaint to the landlord, which was forwarded to property management.
They are asking for my PCN and want to forward the complaint to the parking company, should I do this?0
