Would the OH be able to go into goldsmiths with my clubcard deals to buy a ring for me?

Help!! I have a dilemma.
Posted before that I bought xmas presents from Goldsmiths which included a D&G bangle for my daughter. When she opened it on xmas morning, some of the stones were missing. Took it back to the store later that week and SA kindly ordered another from another branch. 3 weeks later got a call to say it was in. Went in to collect it but it was the wrong one:mad: . SA then said there were no more to be had within the company and she would order a new one from D&G, which she did. Got a phone call on Sat. to collect which we did. Daughter opened it when we got home and the new one also had stones missing:eek: Informed the store asap. who said they would give me a credit note instead. A bit peeved as SA had previously told my daughter the bangle cost £150 and she hadn't liked anything else in store so now we would have to pay real money to replace her xmas present.
DH offered to take it back yesterday, came back and when I asked him for the credit note he says, oh they just refunded my card:eek: Now don't know what to do, obviously this would enable me to buy a new xmas gift for DD without any cost to us but what's gonna happen now?
Obviously they have all the details, DH gave them receipt but it was a gift receipt so didn't mention method of payment.0 -
I don't think I'd worry.
Goldsmiths have obviously converted those vouchers to cash from tesco and therefore won't be out of pocket by refunding youLook after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0 -
No don't worry at all, they can't do anything once the transaction as been processed and you've left the store.
The sales assistant who did it may get a ticking off, but I would imagine they've done it as a goodwill gesture because you've been messed around so much.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Both me and OH have a Clubcard account, would we be able to combine vouchers to spend in Goldsmiths, I noticed it says the vouchers will be issued in the name of the Clubcard account holder?0
