Tesco vouchers / Goldsmiths

Options
I'm really saving up my Tesco vouchers for a holiday but want to get my daughter a watch for Christmas. How easy is it to use the Tesco vouchers there? Do they get all sniffy with you? If the item you want isn't in stock, will they order it for you?

The minimum spend at Goldsmiths is £200 which would mean 5000 clubcard points.

Full details are here on the Clubcard website.

  • The staff couldnt have been better we wanted a certain watch that the store didnt stock ... they rang round all branches to see if any of them had this particular model..

They then rang other jewellers, found one in stock so I could look at it.. then once I had made up my mind ordered it in from the manufacurers and didnt bat an eyelid when I handed over £1650 in cc vouchers....

In fact they said they had a regular that came in every few months and bought a Rolex!!!

  • The branch I used in Sunderland were fantastic , very polite and helpful.

The ring I exchanged vouchers for did have to be sent from another store and took nearly 6 weeks to arrive but that was because it had to be resized.

I would assume a watch would be quicker to arrive but with christmas now fast approaching you may be should try and order the item you want ASAP.

I bought a watch from the Exeter branch - it was no different than paying by cash or credit card. For a £200 spend, you would need £50 in vouchers - see this link:

My watch, priced at £240, cost me £60 in Tesco vouchers. You get the same service and warranty etc. And I have always found the Clubcard customer service people very helpful if I needed clarification. HTH
  • I read somewhere that there was a minimum spend with Goldsmiths of about £500, are they wrong?

There was a DKNY watch for £89 that I was going to get and keep the other vouchers for a birthday pressie or something but then I saw the same watch in the amazon sale at £53, supplied by Shade Station.

    http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/product.asp?cid=1&pid=3582

(she'll only wear a bangle type strap)

So I looked on quidco and saw you got 5.5% cashback at Shade Station.

The watch direct from them with free delivery was £52.50. Then I found a voucher code for £10 off too!
    So I got a 90 quid watch for £42.50 without using any Tesco vouchers :j :j :j

Was just in Braehead branch and spent £300 in vouchers. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Definately £200 minimum spend. Still have £100 voucher left, just need to try and accumulate £400 more for a watch for my daughters 21st in May next year. Heres hoping for some h&b 50 pointers soon so I can get started lol.:rotfl:
  • last december I went to the liverpool shop declared the fact that I was using clubcard vouchers right at the beginning. The staff were really helpful&individually gift wrapped each item without even asking! very impressed will be cashing them in again soon for another shopping trip.
