Egg Credit Card 2003-2008 period

The FCA website only lists Barclays however on the Barclays website there is a note saying:
Egg (Inc. Boots) *Only applicable to Egg credit cards that were active after 7 November 2011
https://www.barclays.co.uk/important-information/ppi/
Who handles claims for Egg cards that were closed prior to 2011?
Thanks!

Canada Square is the place to try though an account closed that long ago should have been deleted under the DPA so you may not get anywhere without your own records

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

When you say 'my own records' do I just need the account number of the card or would they also expect me to provide evidence of the premiums paid? Because I certainly don't have those, I know they were in a pile of old paperwork that I burned about 6 years ago.0

You need comprehensive documentary evidence from your own archive if records have been deleted.
This is all a little pre-emptive though, they haven't said they have no records (yet).0 -

Basically under the DPA the general guidance for finance is to delete records of an account closed more than 6 years ago, some may hold records for longer. Your own records will be needed if the bank no longer holds any records of what (if anything) you paid as without proof of payments on either side your complaint won't progress.
You can find out from Canada Square if they have your records and if you had PPI, then you can complain if you wish.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
