Report and ignore, not quote and respond, then! ;)

Responses just keep the names of these companies at the top of the forum, which is what they want.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • Hi all, not sure if anyone can help or advise. I had a cahoot loan back in 2000/2001. I have found old banks statements which proves payment to them and has an account number next to the payments. Being so long ago i don't know if they would consider if i had PPI back then as the account may have been deleted and all records destroyed even though i have proof of a loan... any thoughts, comments and guidance is appreciated.

You contact them providing all the information you have located, you give them details of why you feel PPI was mis-sold... and then you await their response.

Keep in mind that due to passage of time they may hold little or no information regarding your loan - you payment evidence only confirms that you had a loan, it certainly isn’t sufficient to evidence that you had PPI.
