Hi
I do a lot of shopping online, usually with Amazon. I bought something recently which stopped working after a few days, this was with Amazon Marketplace. I contacted Amazon and they forwarded it onto the firm. I gave the firm negative feedback and they say they will not send me a replacement until I have removed the negative feedback (it wasn't that negative, I just said I wasn't happy with the product).
Can they do this? It sounds a bit like blackmail. If I were to get a replacement should I then post another negative review.
As I said, I do a lot of shopping online and very rarely give a negative review.

No they can't but it was bit daft leaving feedback of any kind until the issue was resolved.
Personally if I ever leave feedback I do so regarding the sellers actions, to be fair its not their fault if the product is faulty, its how they handle that situation that matters, it seems you didn't really give them chance to resolve before leaving the feedback.
Product reviews should be left on the product page.0 -
I understand what you're saying but unfortunately I left feedback before the item failed not afterwards.0

Have you sorted out the exchange/refund yet? If the seller isn't playing ball then have a look at Amazon's A-Z.
I personally wouldn't be discussing feedback as it isn't part of the original transaction.0
