Just by way of an update here...
I filed a complaint (which took me a long while to locate the best way to do this and avoid the robotic customer service advisors).
It was an in depth email that explained the absurd position of me having tickets, the buyer wanting tickets and the broker (them) not allowing, and in fact hindering this sale in order to punish the seller.
They replied that the sale had now been confirmed on my behalf and I can proceed as planned. No reasoning for their initial position or anything like that, just a one line email and the confirmation email that followed.
Whilst I am happy with the outcome, I don't plan to ever use this or any other site like it again.
Just thought I would let anyone else that looks for something relating to this subject in the future know that there is some hope.0 -
