Firstly, I apologise if this is covered elsewhere. I did search and read through a few posts, but have brain damage and my concentration fizzled out.
I have a new Nokia 130, supposed to be unlocked, but appears to be locked to EE. My previous phone is barely usable, having been taste-tested by one of my parrots, and with no real spare cash available and a need for a simple phone only, this fit the bill - or it would if I could just get it to accept my Tesco sim.
I have the box / IMEI number, but when I look at posts stating use a certain "calculation" I am quite honestly, lost.
If anyone can direct me to somewhere the procedure is clearly set out so that my simple mind can even consider doing this myself, i would be most grateful.
Thanks for reading. :T:

Was it shaped like a cuttlefish?
EE will unlock the phone for £8.99.

Must you use Tesco & it's O2 look a likes?
If locked to EE get an Asda SIM, free on line or 50p in store, comes with some loaded time valid for a month, so time to see it it works or not. Then if number important port it overEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0
