Britania Parking PCN via ANPR

Hi,
I've had a PCN from Britannia Parking claiming I overstayed the 2hr limit in a Waitrose car park by 25mins.
I've had a good read through the Newbie section.
Just a few questions:
1) Should I complain to the retailer in person, say at their Customer Services or in writing?
I'm a very regular shopper at their store and have proof from receipts.
Can the retailer get Britannia to waive the notice, and might this jeopardise who was the driver?
2) On day 26 submit the template letter to them.
They should then send another NTK, the same as the one they have already sent? Or is NTK different to the original PCN?
They have sent two photos on the back of the PCN calming to show the vehicle entering and leaving, these are not time stamped but might show the driver clearly if they have high enough resolution on the originals.
Is this relevant?
If I fail to win will I have to pay the £70 instead of the initial £40 they are trying to extort from me?

First thing is to contact the MD
Mr Rob Collins Managing Director
Email rob.collins@waitrose.co.uk
Enclose receipts and show him that you are a valued
customer and request he cancels

Did the NtK arrive within 14 days of contravention?0

If you fail to win the initial appeal, then you appeal to POPLA. If necessary, read post #3 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to discover the best way to do that.
If you fail to win a PoPLA appeal you still do not have to pay.
Have you seen the chances of them taking court action:

Thanks beamerguy |:
I've written to the MD of Waitrose.
(I went in person today to the store and the manager was extremely unhelpful).
Guys Dad:
It arrived today the 17th - The date of contravention was the 3rd, so only just 14 days.
Thanks KeithP:
Interesting stats!
7 court hearings from nearly 80,000 tickets this year.0
