If I submit this over the weekend will it be accepted or have I stuffed it? Would massively appreciate any pointers.
You could try hand delivering your Witness Statement (WS) and evidence in a tabbed and indexed ring binder along with a note of apology for being slightly late and hope the court usher takes it in for you. Use the search this forum - to be found on the first page - Advanced Search with ring binder as your search term and Coupon-mad to search by user name and change the radio button (bottom left) from threads to posts.

    IN THE XXXXX COUNTY COURT
    CLAIM No: XXXXXX
    BETWEEN:
    VEHICLE CONTROL SERVICES (CLAIMANT)
    -AND-
    XXXXXX (DEFENDANT)
    Witness Statement

    1. I am XXXXX, of XXXXXX the Defendant in this matter. I will say as follows:
    2. I was the registered keeper of vehicle registration XXXXX at the time of the alleged contravention.
    3. On XXXXXX, the vehicle with registration XXXXX was parked at XXXXXX.
    4. On returning to the vehicle there was a piece of paper affixed to the windscreen. Boldly stating ‘THIS IS NOT A PARKING CHARGE NOTICE’ evidence of this is attached as Exhibit A.
    5. 6 Days later a Notice to Keeper (NTK) was issued via post and stated that the keeper of the vehicle was required to pay “£100 within 28 days of the Issue Date of this Notice, i.e. no later than XXXXX” Evidence of this is attached as Exhibit B.
    6. It is my position that, under the Protection of Freedoms Act (PoFA) 2012 Schedule 4 (Exhibit C), the Claimant has no standing, or cause of action, to litigate in this matter.
    7. I invite the Court to dismiss this claim in its entirety, and to award my costs of attendance at the hearing, such as are allowable pursuant to CPR 27.14.

    STATEMENT OF TRUTH
I believe that the facts stated in this Witness Statement are true.
    Signature

    Date XXXXX

Could I please get some feedback on my Witness Statement. There will be other evidence in my exhibit section but I hope I'm right in thinking this doesn't need to be referenced in my Witness Statement.

Hang on, you said a MONTH ago:
Only problem (perhaps DETRIMENTAL) is that I've not submitted my witness statement or evidence and it was due yesterday!

Do you have to get exhibits in separately then? By when?

Your WS says nothing about the signs or parking event, so how does that support your defence which surely covered those things?
