Octopus Energy Overcharging

When IRESA Energy collapsed, we were transferred to Octopus, from whom we switched recently. We have just received our final bill from Octopus, for an outstanding amount of £90. We checked the meter readings they used which were nothing like the correct readings. I queried this with them, and have just received a revised outstanding amount of £10.


Just wondered how many other people might be affected by this, who don't bother checking their meter readings ?

I'm sure all moneysavers will check the basics when switching supplier, such as ensuring the start reading used by any new supplier matches that used by the old supplier as a final reading.
