Please Help - Disciplinary Hearing

Background: Last week I was suspended from work on full pay. HR emailed me the accusations as per my request and sent it in the post. The accusations have come from 2 people whom have written a statement saying I said something to them about my manager - which I didn't. There was a third statement too but the individual concerned withdrew it after a little investigation by HR. My job is to investigate sales and these two people were being assessed and investigated.

My question is - can HR take the opinions/accusations from two people serious enough to fire me? I have a completely clean record for over 2.5 years - never ever had an issue at all with anyone at work.

To me, this statement, coupled with your job role, says that HR are already going to be viewing the allegations with a high degree of suspicion. Unless similar allegations have been made against you i wouldn't worry about it too much.
