parking ticket in lidl car park
Allowed 90 minutes.
the driver stayed in the car park = 101 minutes and 57 seconds.
Reason why the car over stayed = Warning light came about tyres deflated.
On inspection my tyre was looking flat and did not want to risk driving it on the road as it could be dangerous and cause an accident or block your entrance to your car park.
the foot pump was broken. I can take a photo of this next to my number plate as evidence.
the driver also texted ther OH saying my foot pump was broken while parked there.
The OH was 30 miles south of Lidl, but ran out of time (stuck in traffic) to get to the car park and help inflate the tyres. I can attach a screen shot of texts saying flat tyres issues and phone call times
After looking at the tyre again it had not significantly deflated. the driver could safely drive 1 miles to get to Halford to buy a foot pump.
The driver has receipt of buying a foot pump within an hour of leaving the car park.
Is this classed as break down and a valid reason to appeal over staying?
If writing a complaint I would use the template other poster have suggested have and write the appeal as a 3rd person.

Yes of course its a valid reason
Do you have proof of shopping in Aldi (Receipt ideally) if so complain to store manager politely but firmly YOU are a customer and don't expect to be treated this way, get them to contact parking scum and get their invoice cancelled
If that doesn't work complain strongly to Aldi ceo, if that fails then follow what is said in newbies section

They do have a receipt and bank statement used at Lidl on that day, just at another store. So they are Lidl customer. the Lidl store did not have what the driver was after.
There is a stationary shop in the same complex as well.onlyfoolsandparking wrote: »If that doesn't work complain strongly to Aldi ceo, if that fails then follow what is said in newbies section
