Conservatory Leaking

My conservatory is 18 months old I have already had one leak about 6 months back and the company repaired it
About a month ago It leaked again and I was told the problem would be logged and it only leaked because of the extreme weather conditions
I accepted this stupidly
Yesterday there was a large puddle on my coffee table so I rang the company again and was told the same thing Extreme weather had caused the problem
Yesterday evening there was another puddle even thought it hadn't rained all day
They have agreed to come and look at it next week The first time it happened my new coffee table had stains on it They took it to premises and rubbed it down
Same thing has happened again and they said I must make a claim on my household insurance as its storm damage How do I stand on things There is a 10 year warranty on the conservatory

Conservatory installers are the lowest of the low.
Don't expect an easy fight.
Check what your guarantee actually covers - it will be very little and certainly not what you expect.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
It is supposedly a very reputable company0

Why is it leaking? Where two panels connect, can you post a photo?0

Yes First I was told there were minute brushes on roof panels where they join for ventilation that was letting rain through
!!!! and Bull story if you ask me
I just want to know my rights really Thanks for response0 -
I've had two very minor leaks in mine in the four years it's been up. Each time the company has come back and remedied the problem. The problem was where two roof panels joined in an H-profile join and insufficient sealant was applied inside the end, allowing a tiny amount of water to seep in when heavy wind drove rain up the roof slope. It only manifested itself in wet and very windy conditions and when the wind was in a certain direction. The company have been excellent. I had a sticking door this summer and they couldn't trim the fittings sufficiently to correct it so they completely removed the door and frame and re-fitted it. All free of charge.
Check your contract for what rights you have, but a good local firm will trade on reputation not always price and will fix things to maintain that reputation.0
