Premier Inn Saver Rate booking

Hi all,

Bit of a disaster.

Ive booked a Premier Inn hotel for 3 nights on a saver rate.
The idea being we were planning to attend a football match at the beggining of Dec.

Sadly however i now find out that Sky have moved the game to a Monday night.

I tried to speak to Premier Inn to move my booking however they have said they cannot help for the saver non refundable bookings.

Im not surprised but it is extremely frustrating Sky have put us in the position.

Pretty much given up hope now however if anyone has any comments or ideas i'd be grateful for the feedback.

There was a thread a while ago with someone in the same position, I think they emailed Premier Inn and they did move the booking for them. I think that was due to a change with flights. If you've only spoke to them on the phone and there is some time might be worth trying an email explaining it all to their customer services?
