Hi everyone,
I have searched but can't seem to find an answer so here goes.
Does this exist :
I want an email that I can access anywhere and my mail will be there but also I want it to be pop3 style where the mail actually downloads to my comp so I can store them.
I often need to check emails from internet cafes so they need to be 'on the web' also.
Does that make sense, I have no idea if this exists, im happy to pay a few quid a year for the service I don't need it to have huge storage either.
Thanx anyone that can point me in the best direction.

You can use gmail as POP3 and on the web. There is a discussion on its annoyances in this forum but I like it myself. 4 gigs of storage, not that I have a need for it but you can download gspace as a plugin for Firefox and upload stuff to it. Pretty useful.0

I would recommend a couple as I've accounts/experience with them - Google Mail (4-5Gb) & Inbox (5Gb).
With both you can choose to just download using POP3, or download & keep a copy on the site. G0 -
Thanx guys ill check google mail now

With huge email inboxes these days provided by Gmail, why would you want to download the messages as well?
Hotmail is now giving 5GB, Gmail 2.8GB and growing. Of the two I'd choose Gmail every time - and I've had a Hotmail account for 10 years now (before Micro$oft bought them), and rarely use it.0 -

So you can read the messages offline, on a portable laptop, perhaps. It would also be quicker to navigate between messages in an email client, rather than jump between web pages. Also, you have more choice/control over an email client interface than you would with a web-based one.0
