1. The VisitScotland Glasgow weekend competition (the “Competition”) is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over.

1. The Competition is not open to employees or agencies of Guardian News & Media Limited ("GNM") or Sponsor, GNM or Sponsor’s group companies or their family members.

1. Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. To enter the Competition, follow the instructions on the relevant webpage on Guardian Unlimited.

1. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

1. No responsibility is taken for entries which are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the Entry is not proof of receipt.

1. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

1. The closing date for entries is Wed Nov 21st. Winners will be notifed by Wed Nov 28th.

1. The prize is 2 nights B&B for 2 people (based on 2 sharing) at One Devonshire Gardens, Glasgow, £500 spending money and dinner for 2 at a Scotch Beef Restaurant to be advised. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. GNM and Sponsor accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize, including, without limitation, costs of transfers, meals and other living expenses and insurance. All elements of the prize are subject to availability. The prize must be taken by 30/11/08.

1. GNM retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

1. Travel to and from Glasgow should be booked and paid for by the winner and up to £150 per person will be reimbursed by VisitScotland on production of valid receipts. Receipts for non-travel costs will not be accepted.

1. The winner may be required for promotional activity.

1. Details of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped address envelope to the following address: The Guardian Marketing Department, 119 Farringdon Road, London, EC1R 3ER.

1. No purchase necessary.

1. GNM shall have the right to disqualify an entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1. GNM and Sponsor accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. GNM and Sponsor further disclaim liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition. Nothing shall exclude the liability of GNM and Sponsor for death or personal injury as a result of either party's negligence.

1. GNM and Sponsor reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their control.

1. The promotion will be governed by English law.
