Ccj judgment

Hi all,
I am new to this, I’ve read the newbies and previous posts as to what my best course of action is.
Similar story as others I was doing a credit check this morning and found a ccj out the blue,
On contacting the court this morning I was informed that it’s by CEL and was issued in court on the 24/09/18.
The parking offence was back in August 25th 2015 on an ANPR, the court could only give me a street name and not a postcode. I am in sales and cover a huge area.
I vaguely rembemer my office notifying me I had a parking fine and they were sending my details to the firm.
I haven’t received paperwork relating to the offence and have move House since then and forgot all about it to now finding the ccj.
My question is as I have no paperwork or anything to work with, do I contact CEL for the relevant paper work??
All I was informed by County Court Business Centre was to send a N244 form in.
What’s my best course of action as I want to obviously avoid the ccj on my credit file. Do I pay the £255 or £100
Or what you recommend with what I see is a limited time scale I have.
Thanks for any assistance
Regards

How will a CCJ affect you over the next 6 years? Can you live with it?
If not, there are hundreds of identical CEL default CCJ threads if you care to read them, follow what they did and do the paperwork in time without needing to come back here for us to tell you to read the other threads. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Basically
1) Pay it. You are in time (one month) to do so in order to clear it from your file
2) Go for a contested set aside
Once youve read ALL teh CCJ threads, you will know which one you want to go for.0 -
To emphasise let us know what you decide to do before you do it. Don't just blindly go ahead.
The reason is that you can pay and end up with a headache getting the ccj expunged from the file due to minor oversights in the process.
Whatever you decide you need to get it right.0
