I’m sure it’s been asked before but is there a direct contact for making a ppi claim for Egg card? My card was dating back about 12 years ago roughly

To make a claim, go direct to the insurer.0 -
Thanks
Is there a limit time wise from when my egg card begun? I’ve no records of my account at all now as it hadn’t been used if my memory is correct the last time I used it was approximately 2 years before they “ceased” I do believe I was paying ppi but like I say have absolutely no details whatsoever0 -
It doesn't sound likely that either party has details of the account.
But if you genuinely believe you have a mis selling complaint, you should make it, giving your reasons, in the hope they still have records.0 -
Is it worth doing the test on the Barclays site first? I see they have a link for checking0

Some of the Egg cards went to Canada Square, some to Barclays - check who had it first.
Do remember most PPI for Egg was done online (where you tick a box to say you want it) or on activation of the card via phone where you agree to take it out so you do need to be careful what you put in your complaint depending how it was taken out on top of your complaint reasons for miss-selling.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
