It would be a good idea to remove the PCN no. from your latest post.

As PCNs tend to be issued well after the time of parking, perhaps the second sentence would be better as:
The Defendant was neither the owner, keeper nor driver at the time of the parking event referred to by PCN 1234567.

    Thank you for this.

Just checking that I'm meant to be emailing this response to Gladstones instead of using their online reply form?

You've still left your PCN number visible in post #8.

    Email it to them.
State that you have evidence of the transaction which you will be happy to share to court, should they refuse to believe you.
  • I sent my reply by email today to julie@gladstonessolicitors.co.uk and leanne@gladstonessolicitors as they were the only addresses I could find.

If this does go to court how long does the process take? Next week I'm going abroad for 6 months with very intermittent internet access so defending a case myself will be difficult.

Hope you didn't tell Gladstones that. Can you get someone to check your post?

Any claim should come in the next 30 days.

No I haven't told them. Should I expect them to respond to my email if they're dropping it, or is no news good news?

Yes my father can open my post but I could be uncontactable for long periods of time. Any internet access I do get will be very poor, usually just enough to send messages not access websites.

I'd like to go away and forget all about poxy Gladstone's but I don't want to return to a CCJ.

You won't know but if your Dad can open the mail, he could do the paperwork for you in your name.

Why not assume the worst and leave instructions about what to do / what to send. It's a 10 minute job
