HSBC merge accounts

Good evening,
I already have a credit card with HSBC, and recently applied for a advance current account (£200 deal :j )
The account is open, I have the card/pin etc. However unable to use online banking, apparently when opening my account they have assigned a new CIN (customer identification number) and they need to merge it with the one assigned to the credit card before I can see my current account on the online serives
I’ve waited a while for this to happen, customer services appear to lack knowledge with this... does anyone know how long the process takes ? It’s annoying not able to manage the account via online banking (account was open nearly 3 weeks ago)
Thank you
