PCN date on letter vs Date received

  • Thank you both- it's an absolute minefield and this forum is no end of help!

I will email the DVLA :)
  • Just so I'm not making any mistakes; something like this to DVLA

    Dear DVLA,

I am writing to you regarding the communications I have received from Kernow Parking Solutions Ltd as the Keeper of a vehicle in receipt of a Notice to Keeper Letter.

I believe the letter I initially received and the response to my appeal (the letter was received outside of the 14 day window) to be contradictory and misleading. My understanding is my details as the keeper were provided by you and as such you control any access to information. I trust you will take appropriate steps to manage this outfit.

    KR,
    xxx

And I'm ignoring the response letter?
  • chances are that the parking co lied and printed wrong date , in order to make it look like it was posted in time , why not ask dvla , what date they forwarded your details
  • We've had another letter...
    hxxp://tinypic.com/r/204aqr/9

and a response from the DVLA...
    hxxp://tinypic.com/r/xn81s3/9
    hxxp://tinypic.com/r/11hb8sg/9

So they requested the information in time but were tardy in sending the letter/the keeper receiving within 14 days. Do we now wait? As always, any help is appreciated.
  • Thank you :)

If anyone can suggest what I need to do (if anything), it would be appreciated.
Thank you for all your help so far.

Ignore them then, as advised already:

They look totally mixed up and trying to wriggle you into naming the driver:

As it stands they are unlikely to take this further and an IAS appeal is a waste of time anyway
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
