District Enforcement ticket - grounds to appeal?

I was considering sending this to both District Enforcement and Sutton Borough Council (as the landowners) - who could overturn the decision?
Do you think if I put my case forward clearly and coherently on why it is unfair also then it is less likely they will try to take me to court? In this instance, they will surely lose as there is no markings whatsoever.
I'd send a more detailed complaint to the Landowner, just use the template for the PPC.
It's impossible to tell how a PPC will react to any given situation. A bit like stroking a tiger, some might purr, most will eat you. Best way to avoid being eaten by a tiger - don't stroke one! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So it looks like I've be been stung with exactly the same thing in the exact same place! Having read through the FAQ I can see all I need to do is use the template for the PCN notice. Feel truly annoyed along with the other 7 people all hit with this same notice when the sign only says 'parked on verge or obstructing access'
One other thing is the term keeper, my wife may be the sole name on the car (maybe both of us) if she is then I assume I need her to submit the appeal?
Thanks in advance for help0 -
Who is named on the V5C as the Registered Keeper and to whom was the PCN sent (assuming it was a notice to keeper and not notice to driver).0

It is indeed my wife and it was a notice left on the window screen not sent through the post. Any difference does it make?
Cheers0 -
In which case she has to submit the appeal and/or defence if/when it comes to it. For now, since you have, jumped on somebody else's thread, send a PM to a board guide and ask them if they can split it off into a new thread.0

It is best for the registered keeper to appeal.
Depending on the land, and the documents served, DE might not be able to hold the keeper liable, therefore obviously the keeper is the best person to be in their sights, NOT the driver. Make sense?
