APCOA do not issue CIVIL court claims for the moment (this could change however)

if they did and this is a penalty notice for a railway station, then it means its not a parking ticket and only the TOC could take it to MAGS COURT

yes its complicated , but a station car park is not the same as a private car park like a supermarket or NCP etc

the 6 months is from the date of the incident for a PENALTY notice on railway land , and it would have to be the TOC that did this in MAGS COURT

for private land (not railway , not airport and not port) its 6 YEARS from the date of the incident , in civil court at your local county court

the newbies thread helps you with this by talking about INDIGO penalty notices etc

so if this land is owned by NETWORK RAIL and leased by the TOC, its a penalty notice and timed out after 6 months , hence no court action should follow

if this is PRIVATE LAND , not railway land , then APCOA have 6 years from the incident date to try a court claim via your local county court by using MCOL (google MCOL)

this could and should have been tested at POPLA (especiallyl to see if it was railway land or not) , which was missed , NEVER let that happen again , prevention is easier than cure

the advice being given now is no different than 6 months ago , or 6 years ago for that matter , NOTHING HAS CHANGED

so for the pcn from last year, just ride it out UNLESS you receive court papers (doubtful)
