G24 Parking Charge Notice

Hi all,
Unfortunately I've got 'hit' by these scammers and done some research. I'm surprised how big is the issue in the country.
I'm the RK of the vehicle and just got the letter from these scammers G24. The Driver indeed was on the premises described in the letter but does not recollects seeing their signage (went there to have a look and the sign is situated high on a pole on a roundabout so if you look after traffic it's easily missed). Also The Driver said to me that she does not remember staying that long in the parking(G24 says the car was there 100 minutes over the limit). The parking belongs to Morrisons and another retailer so the Driver spent alot of time shopping for clothing (but didn't purchased anything in the end) and then went into Morrison's and boght some bits and bobs (I can prove with bank statement).
I'm after some advice on if/how I can appeal/cancel this as I think it's unfair to put the sign in the roundabout which is very difficult to see (especially if Enghlish isn't your first language). The Driver is a friend which was just visiting from Europe and £60 is alot of money for her so it'll be nice if I can get this cancelled.
I've done some reading but tbh there is sooo much information here that I'm confused. So can someone please point me in the right direction? I know that I should start by sending a complaint by email to Morrisons' Store manager and CC the CEO?
Please help.
Thanks,
My name.
P.S. What's the difference between Keeper and Registered Keeper?

yes , complain to the landowner and retailers , get those complaints in as patrons of the store
G24 will not, repeat, NOT cancel this unless the landowner tells them to do so, so any appeal is futile (but should still be done using that blue text template)
because the driver lives in the EU, then the keeper could name the driver and give G24 the drivers details, including their address in France
that way the keeper has abided by POFA2012 and the driver is out of the jurisdiction of the english courts, so it will die a death
a regisatered keeper is the person or entitiy named on the V5C (log book)
a keeper is the person in charge of the vehicle on a day to day basis
the driver is the person who actually drove the vehicle
these may be all the same person, or 2 different people
and an owner could be the finance company if the vehicle was on here or bought on HP
so it can be complicated and so G24 will have an uphill struggle due to all these factors
so either the keeper names the driver, or appeals as keeper and fronts it out for 6 years
the landowner cancellation is by far the best option , even if that is David Potts (the Morrissons CEO)0 -
Hi all. Thanks for the very useful information on this forum and to @Redx for the quick reply.
I have complained to the store manager initially on the phone and then in writing as he gave me his email. Also I've attached a printscreen of the Driver's bank transactions which prove that she was a genuine client in that day. The manager at Morrisons was very helpful and cancelled the charge (and have the proof in writing). All good now!
Thanks once again!0 -
well done
you followed the correct advice and it was correctly cancelled as a result0
