Personal info in online appeal?

Hi
Very grateful for the advice on this forum, I am hoping it will help me beat a PCN. I am about to submit an online appeal for a NTK PCN - using the copy and paste template on the Newbies page. I'm just concerned that they are also asking for email and phone details. How do they use this information? I do not want to give this company further opportunities to harass!
I have looked around on the Newbie pages but I can't see any advice on this. Sorry if it's somewhere obvious and I've overlooked, there is a lot of information to take in.
Thank you.

Don't give your "proper" email address/phone number!! (You can use a throwaway one if they won't process the appeal without those fields being completed)0
-
create a bespoke gmail email address for this task or for general spam as well, so dont give your usual email address
use any phone number you like , fictitious or otherwise , or use an old sim only top up card mobile phone like I do which isnt registered to me as its not on contract (a burner)0 -
Thanks so much for your quick responses. I began to put false info in then panicked when I saw the 'tick this box to confirm all the above info is true'! I didn't want that to go against me if it reaches the court stage.0

Give them the phone number of Whipsnade Zoo, The Tower of London, Madame Toussauds .... or how about the phone number of a rival parking company, they'd love that!
Be inventive.
If they are asking for your postal address, make sure you give them that, otherwise they are likely to ignore your appeal.
If it is a windscreen ticket and you're following advice to appeal on day 26, build in a little discrepancy into your postal address, then if they continue to show that in any subsequent correspondence you can be reasonably sure they haven't gone to the DVLA for your address details. No DVLA contact, no Keeper Liability. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks, it's CEL. I am already hopeful, from reading advice already listed here, that they haven't complied with POFA. No request for driver details, just a demand for money!0

Phone number of a rival company, I love it! Mwahahaaaa!0

It would be rich of CEL to accuse anyone of hiding behind a false address when they use a mail drop in Liverpool, yet operate from the south of England!
Get this killed off via the initial appeal template or as a back-stop POPLA. It then won't go to court. But if you don't get it killed now, it is the CEL MO to serve court proceedings.
It won't be a windscreen ticket, so no need for the day 26 or slight discrepancy in your address - they've already contacted the DVLA. Send the appeal as soon as - do not miss their 28-day deadline for the initial appeal. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. All done. Thanks again for helping out. I have been creative as per your advice
I'm anticipating this going to POPLA so I'll stay on the forum and get my next defence ready.
Grrrr, I really have better things to do than deal with this nonsense!!!0 -
for POPLA it is an appeal, not a defence
see post #3 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread for examples (not templates)
a landowner cancellation is always the best option to get rid of these pcn,s0
