LV Travel Insurance vs Nationwide

For the past few years, we've used LV premier travel insurance - it's not cheap but it's a comprehensive policy with a good reputation for settling claims.
We're looking at the Nationwide FlexPlus account which seems to offer a similar level of cover to LV with additional benefits thrown in (mobile phone insurance, interest on the first £2500 etc.)
Just wondering if anyone has looked in detail at these two and can see any downsides for a cheaper option using the Nationwide (assuming the account is suitable in other ways, though there aren't many pre-reqs).
Thanks
