Eco/Green bonds

Hi all, I'm just after advice as I'm thinking of investing into the Tyram lakes. It's a green competitor to Centre Parc's. 8% return on your money over 3 years. This is with the Rothgen group.
Has anyone else invested in this project? I'm really unsure as what to do. Any advice would be great. thanks Jase.

"The Tyram Lakes Bond is secured, but is a non-readily realisable security and as such as an unlisted bond, is not as flexible as a corporate bond in that it cannot be traded or converted and not listed on any market."
In what way is it eco/green. Green wash maybe.0 -
I'd avoid all these mini-bonds because of their risk and that they cannot be easily traded.“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”0

High risk and illiquid with no FSCS protection.Presumably this would only be a small part of your wealth and money that you could afford to lose?0

100% loss potential. No FSCS protection. Higher risk than investing in a FTSE tracker.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

No this is my first and only time to invest. I have no idea as to which is best or to do
Do you have a defined contribution workplace pension? If you do that's the first place you should invest. Next would be a stocks and shares ISA and at first stick to multi-asset funds from reputable companies like Vanguard etc. But maybe the most important thing is to pay off any high interest debt that you have as that's a 100% guaranteed return at the interest rate you are paying.“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”0 -

Given this ultra-high-risk investment into an obscure micro-cap company is completely unsuitable for you, how did you come across it in the first place?0

it has been on sky tv and its on the net0
