Can you recommend a cordless vacuum cleaner?

Hi all
Looking for a cordless vacuum and have a budget of no more than £200. The reason I am asking for advice is because I am seeing a few on Amazon with good rating and are under £100. I am thinking is it one of those things where you can get a good deal when you just ignore the brand.

Hi I have a Hoover Freedom pet 22V and I think it's great, so easy to use and cleans up everything I need it to. I think if you go for one of the very expensive vacuum cleaners you may a tad more suction but in my opinion not nearly enough to justify the price! I would recommend the one I have, I think it cost around £160.0

Hi. There is a business Direct Vacuums. They have their own website and a shop on eBay. This is where I get mines from. I only ever buy cleaners by the Hoover company but they also sell other brands. Some are repackaged due to damaged boxes and others are "refurbished" meaning they have been returned to the retailer. Dyson also have an outlet on eBay where they sell reduced cleaners.
It is worth a look. Sorry I can't recommend a model but I only ever buy corded cleaners rather than the cordless ones. Just my preference.
Hope you get something you like.0 -
I got a Shark Duo Flexology thing in Sainsburys for under half the price it was in Currys. It's brilliant, and I can do the car with it too. Worth a look? They have electricals on discount in Sainsburys at the moment.0

I bought a Dyson V7 a few weeks ago for £250, can’t recommend it enough. I’d stretch the extra £50 if I were you, anything else is just going to be a poor copy. Worth it for the docking station alone.0

You don't say what you're after it for? Whole house cleaning? Spot cleaning? etc.
I have a Dyson V6, which replaced a Dyson cordless I'd had for many years. I'd happily recommend another - looking at Shark and Hoover models family have bought I'd steer clear off them. They make lots of noise, have lots of lights, but otherwise just aren't as good. I do still have a Dyson upright for doing the big clean.
Dyson have an outlet on eBay where they sell off refurbs with a warranty. I've seen plenty of reports that people have received models that are indistinguishable from new.0 -
I have a Which? subscription. The Best Buy cordless are three Dysons, two Bosch and a Hoover. Cheapest two are both £250. Not far behind in results is the Vax Blade 32V Pro TBT3V1B1 at £169.
I bought the Dyson V7 Animal cordless a couple of months ago. Not wowed until I shelled out for the fluffy head: basically I should have got the V7 Total Clean.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
I got a shark in Argos (was an Argos deal) two of us live in a 3 bed no pets and it's brilliant. Can't remember the model but it was around £1700
