Bio Diesel.... Upbto date locations & will it function with newerish mapped cars?

Hi all. Does anyone know an up to date location list for bio diesel pumps at/nr Huddersfield in West Yorkshire? Used to about 7 yes back use Green World in Slwithwaite, not there any more!

I have a 1.4 mapped diesel Ford Fiesta Zetec, would it run OK & would I need to get it mapped/altered in any way?:beer:

When you say "Biodiesel", what do you mean? Normal vanilla pump biodiesel is B7 - 7% biofuel. Various other blends may be available, all the way to B100.


You need to speak to whoever developed the aftermarket map. They are the only ones who will know whether the car will run on anything other than the normal vanilla B7. However, the usual issue is a lack of lubrication of the high pressure pump in common rail diesels. You don't say what age your Fiesta is, or what engine. If it's the usual Ford/PSA 1.4 or 1.6, then you should be OK on that front up to B30 - PSA OK'd it as far back as 2008, for all post-98 engines, but Ford were much more reluctant.

Hi! Thanks! Mine is a 2006 1.4i fiesta, 69 bhp but probably more with mapping! Would this be suitable? Will check out & try & contact people who put together original biodiesel list.

Speak to the people who mapped it. They are the only people who can tell you.

I would be more worried about it eating the fuel line and the seals in the fuel tank than whether the map will work with it.
