Indian Transit Visa

  • The information from TIMATIC for TWOV (transit without visa) is :

VISA REQUIRED, EXCEPT FOR PASSENGERS WITH A CONFIRMED ONWARD TICKET FOR A FLIGHT TO A THIRD COUNTRY WITHIN 24 HOURS. THEY MUST STAY IN THE INTERNATIONAL TRANSIT AREA OF THE AIRPORT AND HAVE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE NEXT DESTINATION.

    Pretty standard TWOV

I will be transiting DEL an BOM on to Asia myself next year and to be honest if they want these airports to be making onward connections for Indian and other airlines then the last thing they would want to do is make it difficult.

Best see if you can get a lounge booked.
