    Please make sure you speak to the OR about the bankruptcy first. If you cash the cheque and the OR has records indicating some money is still owed they will come after you. If the OR says you can keep it, then you're fine.

    People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • As stated previously no dishonesty on any part, and have spoken with the OR who has confirmed they have no hold on the ppi compensation as all debts were cleared at time.

    Keep a copy of the letter from the OR confirming they are ok with you having it. Some people have had issues 3 or 4 years after receiving the money with the OR then asking for it.
