What is going on? The above has just supplied my details to euro car parks regarding a parking offence. The car stated I do not own and I was not in the said city that the incident took place. Not pleased.

Well if you are cast iron sure you have neither owned, kept nor ever used the car in question so you and your address have never been linked to it and you have a cast iron alibi etc for the time in question - you just let them eventually take you to court - whereupon you can have much fun: assuming you have a lot of time to spend wasting as much as possible of their time.0

if the DVLA have supplied your info to a parking co (which they can do) then your name is on the V50

The same thing happened to my son a while back. He hadn't been anywhere near the place in question - a very long way from where we lived. It took and age to sort out because they didn't believe him. They eventually sent a picture of the car that caused the offence. Different colour car and different make. Someone had reversed something on the number plate. Can't remember if it was the numbers or letters. They eventually dropped the fine and he didn't even get an apology. It took a very long time to get sorted even though it should have been very easy.0 -

OK , cloned or not the OP MUST OWN the vehicle , how else could DVLA match a name to a VRN
