Aldi/Lidl Fruit and Veg

I have not been impressed with Aldi fruit and veg but now we live within reasonable distance of a Lidl and theirs seems fine. Nothing mouldy in our purchases and a reasonable fridge life.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0

I buy Lild carrots regularly, and find that a 1kg bag can last me a week provided I wash and carefully dry them, wrap the contents in a piece of kicthen roll and then store in an airtight container in the fridge. Keeping them in the plastic wrapping is a surefire way to end up with mouldy black carrots as despite the holes punched in, there is always moisture in the bag.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
