Cheap group flights to Sydney

Hello
New poster, hope I am in the right place.
I am looking to book 10 flights Manchester to Sydney
9 Adults and 1 child
6/04/08 - 20/04/08 (dates flexible to a day or 2)
Best quote so far £721pp inc taxes from Airline Network
25% discount for the child.
I have been told by a number of providers I cannot have group discounts for 9 adults and 1 child, only for 10 adults and I cannot book an adult seat for the child to get the discount!!
I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any deals I can get below £7030 or maybe a bonus for a goup (not worried about route but dont want excessive waits for connections)
Many, many thanks

I've never seen long haul group bookings be any cheaper than £10-£20 per person cheaper than the cheapest normal seat, the greatest advantage are the not having to name names until close to departure (because you might get cancellations etc), your own check-in desk and later final payment dates.

Trailfinders used to have a group booking section - have you tried them?

A cursory look at Expedia shows your quotes are cheaper than what's online, so i'd give the airline network price serious consideration. Don't believe there are massive group savings out there - there aren't.

Thanks for the info .... I will call Trailfinders tomorrow and see what they can do.
