LBC! Taking me to court - PCM

Hey guys, been reading through all of the Newbies stuff. I got a parking ticket about 5 months ago for parking in a 'restricted area' I used the template to respond, asking for evidence. They're part of the IAS so once I sent my appeal they responded, and since then have just been sending debt collector letters and now a letter from Gladstones. I haven't crafted a response yet or hearing as I'm slightly confused on what I should be putting together. Long story short also, parked in a restricted area as the big sign telling people not to park there had fallen down, even pictured in the evidence they provided. Could you guys advise? Hope I'm not being stupid. Any help would be great. I wanted to add pictures but can't since I'm a new user, what's best to show one of the group admins my situation?
Thanks so much

there are no "group admins" , just volunteers giving up their free time
if you have a GLADRAGS LBC, you need to send an LBC rebuttal, so see post #2 of that NEWBIES FAQ thread, plus read any recent 2018 LBC rebuttals in other threads and adapt one and send it to Gladrags

Welcome to the Gladstones/IPC/IAS scam.
Your appeal to the IAS was pointless as it's all part
of the scam ?
Who were the debt collectors and in this LBA, is
Gladstones claiming £60 above the parking charge ??0 -
Elliot v Loake again, will they never learn, read these.

In my opinion, this merits a complaint to the SRA

Gladstones are well aware that this criminal case has NOTHING to do wil parking notices. Their inclusion of it therefore can only be to intimidate and misinform. If this goes to court they will be wasting court time and behaving unreasonably. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Not a million miles different from a notice stating 'Clamping in Operation' - sufficient to deter 90% from parking, as EvL might encourage a similar percentage to pay.
If the EvL business model didn't work, I'm sure they'd find another. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I suspect that a letter from a solicitor, referencing a real criminal case, to a scared-witless punter, will be enough to tip them over the edge and scrabbling for their chequebooks.
Perhaps, but is it ethical, should not solicitors act ethically? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
