LBCCC help please

Hi, hoping someone can help me, in September I got a parking charge notice from parking eye with regards to the car park I use to go to the gym. At the time I was using the gym and I am a member. I was a new member at the time of the incident and had not been told I needed to enter my reg number to get 4 hours of free parking, which as a gym member I am entitled to.
I rang the gym to ask for proof I was there so I could appeal it and was told to bring the letter in and they would email parking eye to get them to cancel it, they took the letter off me and didn't give it back. They also told me I would get another letter from parking eye as they always send 2 and to ignore the second one. So thinking this matter was resolved I was surprised when I got a further letter saying I now owed £100.
I went back to the gym who again took the letter from me and said we will email them again. Now this week I received a LBCCC This is the first time I've had these letters so I did the worse thing and panicked!! I contacted the gym again spoke to the assistant manager and was told to bring the letter down. I did that straight way, she copied it gave the original back and said she would email them and that I should try to contact them myself I could find no way of doing that so I wrote in the appeals form on their website, having read a few of the threads on here I think this may have been a mistake and I had no proof to upload at the time.
I have been up most of the night worrying and stressing over this, which doesn't help I know but unsure how to proceed. I have managed to get the gym to send me a screen shot showing that I logged in with my gym card on the date in question around the time and have asked for the emails the gym have told me they have sent. Would I be going down the right road to construct a letter along with the screen shot and emails from the gym and post/email them to parking eye or should I wait for them to reply to the appeal, which I have no doubt will be unsuccessful?
Any advice or tips would be wonderful!

your best option here is doing what you have done and getting the gym manager to get it cancelled
as you have already contacted the gym and left it with them (yet again) plus you have appealed it on the PE website ? , leave it a while and see what transpires
hopefully PE will cancel it, in writing
as you have an LBC from PE, then dont leave it too long and keep contacting the gym manager until you have it cancelled , be a nuisance0 -
Write bad stuff on the gym's Facebook page.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P.
for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
plus you have appealed it on the PE website ?
I wonder if I was wrong to do this as I did it in panic after speaking to the gym manager yesterday and did not upload the evidence I now have because I didn't have it at the time.
Thank you though I will keep on at the gym manager until I get a response.0
