John Lewis Home Insurance renewal

John Lewis Home Insurance is underwritten by Royal Sun Alliance (RSA).

Have been quoted a renewal for JL £555.00, up 100.00 on last year, DD charged at 21% apr!

Have been quoted on uSwitch £378.00 with RSA, and they do not charge interest on DD's!

Has anyone used RSA, what are they like, have there been any issues on any claims? Would you recommend?

You will probably find enhancements in cover to the JL policy due to their client base

RSA are ok, they can be picky on claims and if you have a few claims in a short period they have a habit of declining to renew.

Certainly a better Insurer than many cheaper Insurers

Hi. If you check out home insurance at very.co.uk you get a free Dolce Gusto coffee machine. I am waiting on mines coming through. This is also RSA. Think the John Lewis/Very thing is just an outlet for them to sell and give the retailer a commission.
