    Hello everybody,
If this is in wrong section please remove post.

I have been acting on my mothers behalf due to her disability which is hearing loss and balance issues.
One of the big energy suppliers have been requested by me verbally over the phone and in a recorded letter that my mother was unable to hear phone conversations she was having with the energy supplier.
Since been told by myself of my mothers issues they still have not made a reasonable adjustment for this and still continue to ring her.
I have involved the Omsbudsman and they have agreed with me and have told the energy supplier to issue a good will gesture, a letter of apology for the failure in service.
They have issued a good will gesture but no written apology as of yet. This has been going on since April 2018.

Yet still this energy supplier are still trying to contact my mother by phone and have even sent a letter out stating they have tried to ring her.
I would like to know what my current options are as i wont let them get away with this. It has caused no end of stress for my mother and its just makes me angry.
    Thank you for reading.
    Michael.

The supplier has 28 days to comply with the ombudsmans ruling.
This would have been laid out in the response by the ombudsman, as well as what to do if you don't agree the supplier complies.
What did you or your mother do about this failure in May, June, July August, September, or even this month about it?

You say you won't let them get away with it, so what have you done about it for the last 6 months???

The ombudsman, in their final resolution which you agreed to, did not prevent the supplier continuing to attempt to call your mother by telephone (based on what you have posted)

Why is the supplier attempting to call your mother?
Does she owe them money? It's about the only reason suppliers call customers (other than in response to contacts first made by the customer to the supplier, or lately over smart meters)

During the months I followed the Energy suppliers complaints procedure then escalated it. Then went to the Omsbudsman and was happy with the recommendations they put forward to Energy suppllier who agreed to them. Thanks

Sorry, I thought you meant this all happend and was agreed last April.

When did the ombudman issue it's ruling? As I said, the supplier has 28 days to comply. There is nothing you mentioned in the OP that sought to prevent the supplier contacting your mother by telephone in the future.

Why is the supplier constantly/repeatedly calling her for the last 6 months? Money owed?

Why don't you name and shame the energy company here, you will probably get a far better result. There are a few helpful company representatives here who are a bit more human and understanding than the standard automated replies from the energy companies.

I have advised you of your current options, as requested.

I'm sorry if they do not accord with what you wanted as a response, or that the questions I have asked by way of further clarification from you of the exact position have apparentl;y been too difficult for you to answer.

You may as well reinstate the contents of this post - I quoted it in post #2 for good reason ;).
