Gladstones - credit card fraud

Morning All,
To summarize, I received a letter before claim for a parking ticket received in May. I maintain that the ticket was wrongfully given as the signage states you have to park within a marked bay and the bays are not marked so it is unclear to the motorist where is "safe" and where you get ticketed. In the beginning I was determined to fight it but due to a change in current circumstances I did not need the added stress so paid the fine upon receipt of Gladstones' letter.
However, after paying the ticket that night my credit card was used to make in excess of £500 worth of attempted purchases. One of which was Domino's Pizza which is more insulting than the act of fraud itself because everyone knows Papa Johns is far superior.
I haven't used my credit card for months to pay for anything other than this £160 Gladstones fine so it seems TOO coincidental that I've now been a victim of fraud. My question is, has anyone else had a similar situation with Gladstones? I'm looking to determine as to whether there is a pattern here.
I contacted Gladstone's immediately after speaking with my bank who simply said: "we don't keep your bank details on file so it can't be us. But we'll look in to it and get back to you later today." This was 08:30 yesterday morning and unsurprisingly I'm still yet to hear despite emailing Leanne, Kelly and Julie (email addresses found via this forum so thank you very much for these) last night. Regardless of whether they kept the details or not, my point was Gladstones should have sufficient anti fraud software in place to protect the highly sensitive personal data they handle. I addressed my email to their head of GDPR and eagerly await any response from them.
Love to hear if anyone else has been in the same boat?
Thanks,

You mean their DPPO?
If it was £160 i doubt it was Gladstones you were paying but DRP0 -
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Sad that you paid, lining scammers pockets is never good
Despite Gladstones being scamyard animals, doubt
they would do that and yes, as said, you probably paid DRP
An investigation is a must especially as this is the first
time for a long time you have used the card.
Your bank should be able to trace where these transactions
came from as someone using your card can be traced to an
area.
Be interesting to hear more about this and if need be, and
you suspect foul play, the ICO should be informed0 -
Domino ,s vans and bikes are banned from golf courses , so "lower class" pizza at the golf club0
