Dodgy Online Cosmetics - Help!

I own a small business and purchased a number of products from a company called Luna Beauty, which sells zero waste products, all of which are clearly stated to have a shelf life of 6 months - this is the first point on the seller's website's FAQs. Some of these products were lipsticks, and I paid the invoice on 30 April, and received the lipsticks after this. About a week and a half ago, I noticed that they had all dried up and contacted the business for a refund, sent photos and said I could send them back as proof if she wanted them. She told me the 6 months was up, as this was October and I bought them in April. 6 months from the invoice would be 30 October, and I didn't actually receive the product until after the invoice was paid. I pointed this out and was ignored, and was then told to 'go ahead' when I told her I'd complain. I have just found out that Paypal has not found in my favour, with no reason provided - 6 months is clearly not up! The amount is small (£50), but I am a small business. I've seen that she has shut down one shop online and stopped selling the products, and she has had other complaints against her on social media. How do I go about complaining to a governing body, if there is one? I looked up the Retail Ombudsman but can't seem to log in. Any advice welcome! Even if I can't get my money back, hopefully other people won't be sold shoddy products!

This was a b2b transaction and you don't have the same consumer protection that you would if they have been bought for personal use.

This isn't a consumer rights issue.

As for Paypal, without knowing what you opened the case for and what PayPal directed you to do, it's hard to surmise why they found in her favour.

Retail Ombudsman if they existed would not deal with B2B .
