Four Lots of Parking Fines - Help

Hi there, sorry first time here just looking for a bit of advice. I am the registered keeper of a vehicle which is mainly driven by my son. From July - beginning of Sept he was employed by a newly opened gym on a part time basis. The gym is attached to a large supermarket and they share the car park. After a month of employment the gym manager advised that the supermarket had agreed to let employees of the gym use their car park free of charge and everyone was asked to provide car registration numbers. This was just verbally relayed by the manager to the employees, nothing in writing. My son started to use the car park. At the beginning of Sept he decided to move on from that employment. I have now received two parking notices and two final demands (i never received the initial parking notices) so I have in total 4 lots of fines for parking. I have appealed and explained the circumstances and the appeals have been rejected. Unfortunately there is no option to approach the manager of the gym as my son didn't leave on very good terms. Would my next move be to contact the manager of the supermarket? Any help is appreciated.

Please state the parking company involved.

Also, before doing anything else detrimental, get yourself properly informed by having a good read of the Newbies Sticky at the top of this forum - that will explain the overall situation with private parking and lay-out your remaining options.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P.
    for unprofessional conduct

Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.

No it is the Gym to get a statement from them about the arrangement. That would be key. Anything for the supermarket can only confirm the scheme, not that the car was on it.
