The ear phones are the same as the iPod shuffle!

My dearly beloved had a non branded 20g mp3 player which she thought was very good except it was too big to fill. She fancied something smaller so I brought her the "Nano" and she loves every little bit of it - except the headphones. She went and brought some Philips SHE8500 and is well happy.Do I Need It ? .......... Do I Want It? .......... What Will Happen If I Don't Buy It? .......... I'm So Confused I Need Help!0

Personally if you don't use it much I wouldn't get an Ipod as even the cheap ones cost a fair bit. I'd get something like a Creative Zen Stone Plus 2Gb for £35.It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
That's the key to most MP3-type thingies - personally, I've found Creative headphones closest to passable, but most of them sound similar and much better through decent 'phones if you record at a high bitrate.except the headphones. She went and brought some Philips SHE8500 and is well happy.0 -
It depends how you have been getting the music to put on it. If you have been downloading mp3 files, either will be fine. If you have been making the music files by putting a CD into your computer and "Ripping" songs off it using Windows Media Player, they will most likely be in wma format, NOT mp3 and the ipod can't play these kinds of files, so you will have to put all of your CDs onto the computer again!I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0

You could do that if you want to waste your time... else you could use one of the many free WMA to MP3 converters which will convert all your files automatically, just one off the top of my head would be: http://www.wma-mp3.org/ but there are many others.0
