Hello, I thought I'd ask here instead of creating another new post. In February 2018 I bought a "Hubsan" quadcopter/drone from Banggood.com who are based in China. It has recently developed a fault in the controller. I emailed them as soon as I could after the fault appeared, (mid December), with a link to a video detailing the fault.
The replied saying sorry but the product is no longer in warranty as it only has a one month warranty ! :O
Now I imagine that the consumer rights act doesn't give me a leg to stand on as they are not based in the EU as a business.
However, the manufacturer is based in China, but also has bases in the USA and The Netherlands. So with them having an office in the EU, would I have a case against the manufacturer?
    Many thanks in advance

No, not unless the manufacturer offers a warranty. Your contract is with the Chinese seller.
