Xtremedoor Composite Front Door Quote

Hi All,
Just had a sales person round from a home improvements company in the south of the UK quote me £1700 including fitting for a composite front door made by Xtremedoor (Vista Panels). Apparently this was their best price after doing the classic 'I'll phone the office' trick.
Is this a fair price for a composite front door or should I expect to be paying a lot less?
Thanks
Luke

The going rate for Composite doors seems to upwards of £1200.
I'm paying £1300 for a Rockdoor, but that's with a discount for having it done with new windows as well.
I'm hoping nobody tries to kick my shiny new door in after it's installed & that the dog leaves it alone:eek:0 -
I paid £800 for a composite front door by DoorStop supplied and fitted in Essex by a local company, fitted in half a day. We had front and back doors done for £1,600
Very impressed, happy to give their details if you want, they're based down Basildon/Southend way0 -
